This whisky is an ode to the 25th anniversary of Bresser & Timmer and bottled especially for them. Bresser & Timmer is a leading Dutch importer and wholesaler of various whiskies. They have obtained a spirit from Stokerij De Molenberg and had it bottled for their 25th anniversary. This makes it a very exclusive and rare edition of only 350 bottles. It doesn’t get more limited than this. The spirit was distilled on May 4, 2011 and first matured in a bourbon cask. On December 30, 2013, he was crossed on an Ankervat. These are special barrels of new American oak that have been heavily toasted. Ankervat # D-8-2 was selected for this bottling. The whisky was bottled on June 4, 2018 with a strong cask strength of 65%. However, the alcohol is beautifully integrated. In our humble opinion it would be a shame to add water to it. Due to the very low number of 350 copies released in 2018, only a fraction of this number will be intact due to the passage of time. A beautiful specimen for enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

Tasting note
A floral powerhouse. The nose is full and creamy with hints of apple, apple pie, cinnamon and vanilla. Then follows apricot and a little wood. Maybe even an old port in the distance.
The taste comes first with beautiful baked apples, apple pie and a lot of honey. A continuation of spices, especially pepper and nutmeg. You will also notice a small bitterness in the form of fresh oak. A real flavor bomb.
The finish is syrupy and long. Refined sweet and spicy with some caramel. Full and soft in the mouth. A very full and very unique whisky.
