The Glenfiddich Grand Château 31 Years
The Glenfiddich Distillery is nestled north of Dufftown, in the heart of Speyside, on the banks of the River Fiddich. The name Glenfiddich means “valley of the deer” in Gaelic. It was here that founder William Grant, together with three of his sons, distilled the first drop of Glenfiddich whisky on Christmas Day in 1887. All nine of his children, seven sons and two daughters ,later joined the business, and to this day William Grant & Sons remains family-owned, with an unwavering commitment to craft and quality. Glenfiddich has grown into one of the world’s largest and most respected distilleries.
This extraordinary 31-year-old single malt embodies elegance and innovation, having matured in American and European oak casks before being finished for an extended period in prestigious Bordeaux wine casks from the Château region of France. The result is a refined whisky that harmoniously blends Glenfiddich’s signature orchard fruit character with rich layers of red berries, soft oak, and subtle tannins. The Grand Château is a testament to Glenfiddich’s pioneering spirit and dedication to excellence, a rare and distinguished whisky made for the true connoisseur.
