Loch Lomond – The Open Special Edition Whisky is a delicious whisky from the Loch Lomond brand. This whisky is distilled in the beautiful Highlands. It is an amber whisky made in collaboration with Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie. Everything for the special golf event: The Open! This delicious whisky first rested in three different American oak barrels, then they were combined in Virgin American oak barrels.
We own this whisky because this edition tells the story of the tournament with a special timing. The Open or The Open Championship or The British Open refers to a golf championship. Loch Lomond often releases an edition in honor of this tournament. It was canceled in 2020 for the first time in 80 years due to the Covid pandemic. Nevertheless, it has been decided to market this whisky after all, which is now a marker of this special period. Fortunately, the tournament can now take place again.

Its aroma is full of delicious notes of pear, surrounded by various spices and a pleasant touch of smoke. Its taste tends more towards oak, with light vanilla notes, nectarines and white grape. They are enhanced by a fragrant smoke.
