The Royal Lochnagar 16 years Special Release 2021 is a striking appearance within this series of limited whiskies. For the lovers of this distillery, this is a unique opportunity to discover a long-aged single malt, bottled at cask strength. The packaging is decorated with a beautiful stallion that comes from a myth.
This single malt is gold colored from the Highland region in Scotland. The whisky has matured in refilled American oak barrels and refilled European oak barrels. This bottle is distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2021 as part of Diageo’s Special Releases.

In the nose you will smell aromas of orange peel, green apple, puff pastry, white grapes, mossy earth and spicy oak wood. The taste offers notes of sugary sweets, sour green apples, dry oak, white pepper and warming spices in the aftertaste.
