This Tomatin Cuatro Pedro Ximenez Edition Sherry Cask Finish distilled on January 18, 2002 and matured in an ex bourbon cask until September 17, 2012, the day this whisky was transferred to ex Pedro Ximenez sherry cask 36130 for a maturation of almost 2.5 years. Bottled on 23 February 2015 at cask strength of 53.4% ​​ABV in a 35cl bottle, non chill filtered and with no added colour. Together with this bottle comes a 37.5cl bottle of Pedro Ximenez sherry V.O.S. 20 years from the same sherry casks including cask 36130 which is on average 25 years old. A sherry from Bodegas Tradicion with 20%.

Cuatro Pedro Ximenez Sherry Cask Finish: In terms of smell, this is a syrupy sweetness with dried fruit.
The taste mainly consists of fruit syrup, dried fruit, herbs, creamy and warm tones of heather and oak. And the finish is long and sweet.

Bodegas Tradicion Sherry V.O.S. 20 years: In terms of smell, this one is balanced and sweet with sun-dried grapes and fruit. In terms of taste, you end up with figs, raisins, dried apricots and prunes with a hint of coffee and licorice. The finish is complex and long.
