Golden Dream
This 34-year-old Littlemill delivers a balanced expression of refined sweetness, complemented by rich oak and soft, subtle malt notes.
Littlemill 34 Years – Private Cask 1990 – The Dutch Trilogy 2nd Edition is a rare and exceptional single malt whisky, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the now-closed Littlemill Distillery. Established in Bowmore, on the banks of the Clyde River near Loch Lomond, Littlemill was one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, operating until its closure in 1994.
Following the distillery’s dismantling in 1997, with the stills relocated to Loch Lomond, the legacy of Littlemill continued through carefully preserved casks stored at Loch Lomond. Master blender Michael Henry, with his expertise and meticulous selection process, has carefully chosen the finest barrels, ensuring each release is truly exceptional.
This 34-year-old Private Cask, distilled in 1990, offers a rich and layered profile. Initially maturing in refill bourbon barrels, it was later transferred into a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead for a second, deeply complex maturation. Bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill filtered, and with no added color, this 2nd Edition of The Dutch Trilogy is a limited release of just 60 bottles, ensuring exclusivity for discerning whisky enthusiasts.
Each bottle is hand-numbered and presented in a sophisticated packaging that reflects the grandeur and craftsmanship of this exceptional whisky. The Dutch Trilogy continues to celebrate the timeless legacy of Littlemill, offering a true masterpiece for collectors and connoisseurs alike.
