Extremely rare from New Zealand. A whisky from the closed Milford distillery. Only 152 bottles worldwide! This beautiful whisky has been aged for 23 years in a small cask of Bourbon casks who dated all the way back to the year 1993. It is a single cask from one distillery. As an old collector told: the distillery has closed and sold his warehouse. In a dark corner we found two barrels, one empty and the other… you can guess! Among some papers they found the history of the barrels. The first barrel was consumed by the owner himself, the second was for sale. In 2001 this barrel was shipped to the Netherlands and kept in a warehouse for years. Only 152 bottles were bottled.
