Another special expression of Diageo’s 2021 special releases, this time from the lovely Oban distillery! This 12 year old single malt comes from the Oban distillery in the Highlands. Aged in freshly charred American oak casks and bottled at 56.2% ABV. The label features a pair of mysterious foxes, referencing the balance of light and dark notes you’ll find within the whisky.
The foxes at the packaging symbolize opposites from the Highland and Island regions of Scotland, with the Oban Distillery in between. The best of these qualities come together in this superbly balanced whisky.
