Rosebank 1990 30 Years – Special Release no. 1

The Rosebank 1990 Vintage is a unique ‘Distillery bottling’ from 1990. A rare single malt whisky from the Lowlands region of Scotland. Rosebank awakens again and releases this very exclusive ‘old’ Rosebank as a prelude to the reopening of the distillery. Distilled shortly before the distillery closed in 1993 and a limited edition of 4350 bottles bottled at 48.6% original issued by the distillery itself. The new Rosebank 30 Year Old is a hand-selected vintage from 1990, three years before the closure of the iconic distillery. In October 2017, Scottish firm Ian Macleod Distillers acquired the Rosebank distillery and the last remaining stocks. The first worldwide release of Rosebank 30 Year Old is a truly iconic moment for the distillery. It has been aged for decades in 62% refillable sherry casks and 38% refilled Bourbon hogsheads, patiently waiting to be awakened. This gives layers of incredible flavor that you won’t find in other whiskies. As the first release of a series, it is awaiting next year’s release. Only 4,350 bottles of Rosebank 30 Year Old will be available worldwide. A great collector’s item with a high collector’s value.
