For the Glenturret 30 Years Old, the rarest casks from the traditional Dunnage Warehouses have been selected. A Niepoort Portuguese oak cask imparts the tropical flavors found in this single malt. This incredible cask, over a hundred years old, has transferred an enchanting warm ruby hue from the dark red port it once held into this extraordinary whisky. European oak sherry and Moscatel casks further enhance the whisky’s abundant rich characteristics. Refill casks contribute a variety of fruit flavors, creating a broad and complex flavor profile.
Founded in 1763, The Glenturret is Scotland’s oldest working distillery. This beautiful boutique distillery is situated beside the River Turret, 3.2 kilometers from the village of Crieff on the edge of the Scottish Highlands.
