Exclusive series

Like its predecessor, the Arran 17 year old is a Limited Edition. The second in the trilogy of limited edition Single Malts leading up to the first ever official 18 year-old.  This Limited Edition release of The Arran Malt at 17 years old has been produced from un-peated malted barley and matured in the finest ex-Sherry casks.  The whisky has not been artificially coloured and has not been chillfiltered at bottling.

This edition is still made in the old house style of the distillery. This characterizes the exclusivity of the series after their opening in 1995. Since then, Arran has undergone several makeovers.

The ‘Road to 18’ series is the distillery’s journey towards releasing their oldest whisky after opening, 18 years later. The very first and very limited series by Arran. Only 9,000 bottles of The Arran Malt 17 Years Old have been released worldwide.

Tasting note

The Arran 17 year starts fresh with the aroma of orange peel. This turns into marzipan, honey, barley and some cinnamon. There are red apples wich are the basis of the flavor palette. Also with some citrus and herbs.
