For this wkisky Robert Milne grows Overture barley on the Ballymorgan farm in County Wexford, using loamy soils derived from slate and granite. A part of that barley has been malted and then used to make this beautiful Waterford whisky. Fermented for 120 hours and then slowly distilled! The character of the barley is at the forefront of Waterford’s process. The spirit is then matured in a perfect combination of American and French oak.

Tasting note
A golden barley appearance with oils that slowly caress the glass. Fruity aromas hit the nose alongside milk chocolate, rhubarb and custard. Green apple greets the palate coated in caramel, cloves and custard with liquoriceand mint chocolate. A gentle finish with heat that lingers in your mouth and as it slowly fades; oiliness is left with spicy chocolate.
